Getting started
I've never done needlepoint. Can I do this?
Yes. Our canvases are 13 mesh, which is chunky and forgiving, and every kit comes with a stitch guide and a video lesson. The free lessons in Stitch School take you from your first stitch to your first finished ornament.
Which canvas should I start with?
Our first-timer pick is Put a Bow On It: big, friendly shapes on a small 4 × 4 in design. You can see every beginner-friendly design in Beginner Kits.
How long does a canvas take?
Our designs are small and stitched on 13 mesh, so they move quickly. Many make a cozy weekend project, depending on your pace.
Do I need stretcher bars?
They're not required, but they keep your canvas square and taut, which makes stitching easier and neater. If you don't have any, choose Kit + stretcher bars and you'll be ready to start the day your box arrives. Lesson 05 in Stitch School shows you how to mount your canvas.

What's the difference between Canvas only, The Kit and Kit + stretcher bars?
- Canvas only: the painted canvas by itself, for stitchers who already have threads.
- The Kit: adds threads pre-sorted by color, a needle, a needle minder, a stitch guide and a video lesson.
- Kit + stretcher bars: everything in The Kit, plus a frame so you can start right away.
What can I make with my finished canvas?
Ornaments, coasters, key fobs, pillows or framed art. Lesson 06 in Stitch School shows you how to finish an ornament at home.
Does needlepoint make a good gift?

Welcome to the club. Literally. Pause anytime, or keep collecting. Designs don't expire.

How much is shipping?
Shipping is free on orders over $50 and on every Stitch Club box.
Can I return a canvas?
Yes. Unstitched canvases in their original condition can be returned within 30 days.
